On Tuesday, February 17 from 5:30 - 7 p.m., all parishioners, adults and children, are invited to attend the Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper in the parish hall. Drop in anytime and get your fill of delicious pancakes and sausage. The EYC will host this wonderful event. It is $5 per person or $20 per family. Hope to see you there!

Please join us for our Ash Wednesday services on Wednesday, February 18. We will have Holy Eucharist and Imposition of Ashes at 7 a.m., 12 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Join us for Wednesdays in Lent beginning Wednesday, February 25 and continuing each Wednesday until March 25. We will gather in the nave for Evening Prayer at 5:30 p.m. and then move to the parish hall for a delicious pot-luck meal starting at 6 p.m. You should be out the door no later than 6:30 p.m. Child care will be provided. Because of our growing parish and the many mouths we have to feed, our Lenten Suppers will be potluck for the whole parish to participate! If you plan on attending February 25, here is the food schedule: If you last name begins with an A-G, please bring and entree to share. If your last name begins with an H-N, please bring a side or salad to share, O-U, a dessert to share, and a V-Z, a beverage to share. We will rotate dishes each week. Please prepare a dish that feeds 8 - 12. If you would like to double it, that is fine, too. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me at plc@holytrinitychurch.info. Thanks! Shelley Lackey

The Flower Guild and our Holy Trinity family are still seeking donors for flowers for several available dates in 2015. Your family may sign up on the Flower Guild Calendar hanging across from the name-tag board in the central hallway. Your donation will be greatly appreciated by our entire parish family. Flowers may be donated in honor of someone you love, in memory of a dear family member, or in celebration of our parish life and family. Email Claire Twardy at claire.twardy@gmail.com or call 334-419-8336 for further information or to request a special date for your donation.

Thanks to the generosity of parishioners, we enjoy snacks and nibbles during the Sunday morning coffee hour between the 9 & 11 a.m. services. About 35 parishioners have offered to participate by signing up to provide simple snacks on Sunday mornings. If everyone in the parish signed up for one Sunday, we would be on a four year rotation! If you would like further details or to add your name to the list, please go to  www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0C45A8AA22A75-coffee or email fellowship@holytrinitychurch.info. Please consider this very important opportunity to serve your fellow parishioners.

The fifth order of name tags is being processed. With this order’s arrival, it will bring the grand total of name tags added to the board to 502!! Thanks to all for sharing your names. These name tags are your to keep, and if you move out of the area, please take your name tag with you to share with your next Episcopal community. If you have misplaced your name tag and would like a replacement, please email nametags@holytrinitychurch.info to request a new one. The replacement tags cost $10.00. Please include “replacement name tag” on your check memo line and place it in the bookkeeper’s box or in the office. Thank you!

Please join us every Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. in the Parish Hall for a weekly Bible study on the Gospel of Matthew. No previous knowledge is required; this will be a relaxed kind of Bible study open to everyone. Childcare is provided.

Our college Bible Study meets on Mondays with a great time and a great dinner. ALL college students are welcome and invited to join us for a time of exploring, questioning, and learning about Scripture, theology, and our faith experience each Monday from 6 - 7 pm in the Parish Hall. Join us for a free, home-cooked meal and a discussion on a topic yet to be chosen; we’ll be asking for your input and interests and go from there! For more information or to ask questions or share thoughts, please contact Jonathan Chesney at jonathan@holytrinitychurch.info or call the church office at 887-9506.
