HOLY TRINITY NEWS AND INFORMATION

THREE SERVICE SCHEDULE: 
Holy Trinity will return to THREE Sunday Services at 8, 9 & 11 a.m on Sunday, August 17, with Sunday School at the 10 a.m. hour.   


FOOD BANK SUNDAY:
On the fourth Sunday of each month, Holy Trinity parishioners are invited and encouraged to bring a food bank item to church.  Our next collection date is Sunday, July 27.  All food bank items are needed, but the items listed below are staple items that are ALWAYS a priority.  Food Priorities:  peanut butter, canned tuna, meat, beans and peas, hearty soups, shelf-stable milk, enriched rice and pasta, grains, iron-enriched & multi-grain cereal, canned tomato products, canned fruit in water or juice, low-sodium canned vegetables, side dishes such as macaroni & cheese and cornbread mix, and all snacks.  


HUNGRY FOR SOME SPIRITUAL FOOD?
You are invited to an ECW sponsored retreat at Holy Trinity on Saturday, August 9 from 8:30 - noon:  EXPRESSIONS OF PRAYER THROUGH WORDS, MUSIC, ART & MOVEMENT.  Workshop leaders will be the Rev. Jonathan Chesney, who is our new assistant rector, Dave Han, Tana Branch, and Mary Ann Hanson.  It is free of charge and open to all interested adults and teenagers. EPISCOPAL CHURCH WOMEN (ECW)
 YARD SALE:  
Are you looking to make some money and help out the ECW all at the same time?  If so, please join us for a yard sale scheduled for Saturday, August 23 beginning at 6 a.m. in the Holy Trinity parking lot. The in-reach committee of the ECW is renting 8 x 10 spaces for $20 each and tables for $5 each.  Renters will sell their own items and keep the sales generated from renting the space from the ECW. Applications are available on the Monks‘ table.  They need to be submitted no later than August 1.  If you have any questions or need more details, please contact Liz Greathouse at 334-707-1087 or Violet Lett at 337-787-0205.  Please know that spaces and tables are open to anyone - they are not exclusive to Holy Trinity parishioners.
